Cedar console table with cast iron base. this one started life as a cedar chest lid and adjustable cast iron legs.
The base is native Texas cedar and the removable expanded metal grates are fitted into a rabbet cut into the face. The whole table is on new wheels for easy movement.
Beautiful country chic curio cabinet, from an old gun cabinet.
This barn find was a homemade gun cabinet from the early 70's.
We added the chippy paint bead boards to make the back, added shelves and the top molding. Added the chicken wire and corner bracing and cross bar to give the screen door effect, finishing it off with a vintage glass knob. Painted the exterior antique white, distressed and waxed then added a Graphic Fairy image to the bottom drawer and glass knobs.
30" industrial spool top table with vintage sewing machine treadle base.
We took a 30" spool top and cut off one side to make it fit against a wall better. The cut off piece was re-attached to the back, creating a back splash. The treadle base is a vintage very rare Farm and Ranch branded base. The two pieces just go together so naturally.
This garage sale find got the full treatment, striped down top and legs. Added vintage Farm Fresh Eggs image, stained and polyurethane on top. The legs got sanded and painted antique white, lite distress and finish sanded, then waxed. What a difference alittle alot of work makes.
